This privacy policy governs the Vistamark client-facing applications (the “Apps”), including VistaWealthOffice.com, VistaDocs.app, VistaBuilder.net, and related Vista platforms. It supplements — and does not replace — the Regulation S-P privacy notice delivered to Vistamark advisory clients.
The Apps are operated by Vistamark Investments LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser (“Vistamark,” “we,” “us”). Questions or requests under this policy: vendors@vistamarkllc.com.
When you connect a financial account, you do so through Plaid Inc. We initiate that connection only after you affirmatively consent within the App. Plaid’s handling of your data is governed by Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. We receive from Plaid only the data needed to provide the services you have requested, and we do not receive or store your bank sign-in credentials.
We use your information to provide investment advisory and financial planning services; to display, analyze, and report on your accounts; to communicate with you; to secure the Apps and detect fraud; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including SEC books-and-records requirements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We share information only with: (a) service providers that operate our systems under confidentiality obligations (including Microsoft, Cloudflare, and Plaid); (b) your account custodian and other financial institutions as needed to service your accounts; (c) regulators, auditors, or law enforcement where legally required; and (d) others at your direction.
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or better) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel under multi-factor authentication and Vistamark’s Information Security and Cybersecurity Policy. Documents are exchanged only through the Apps — never over plain email.
You may unlink a connected account at any time within the App or by contacting us; unlinking stops future data retrieval. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting vendors@vistamarkllc.com; we will honor verified requests except where retention is required by law (advisory records are retained for at least five years under SEC Rule 204-2). You may also manage Plaid connections directly at my.plaid.com.
We retain personal information under Vistamark’s data retention and deletion policy and securely delete it when no longer required. We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and material updates will be noticed within the Apps. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
